What is the millennium bug?It is simply inability of computer chips to recognize 00 as the year 2000.Instead ,it reads 00 as the year 1900 causing some computers to malfunction.
 
John Wilson, Chief Economist at Bank of America says Y2K could have a major impact on transportation,finance and electric utilities.We will all stock up a small supply of food ,water and cash,says Wilson.The Federal Reserve has already announced plans to print an additional $50 Billion to meet the extra demand.
If you become one of those stocking up on food,water,and cash before January 2000,will you also have some silver and gold on hand?For centuries gold coins have maintained their purchasing power when paper money often has a diminishing purchasing power.
